Bloodhound overview

This is a Belgian breed bred by monks in the Middle Ages for scent tracking. Their instinct to follow scent is still strong and is still used for its original purpose today.

Difficult to obedience train and their typical baying song is not to everyone's liking. However, they are placid affable hounds, with a very sad look.
