Dandie Dinmont overview

The Dandie Dinmont Terrier is named after the fictional character (ref. Guy Manneringby Sir Walter Scott). Originating from the Border country, the Dandie Dinmont Terrier is said to share ancestry with the Border Terriers. Friendly dog, self-willed but not very obedient. Can be determined and aggressive with other dogs.

They were originally used in fox hunting, badger digging, otter hunting and vermin control.
