Rottweiler overview

The Rottweiler originated in Rottweil, South Germany, as a cattle drover and guard. Suitable for the urban environment, it makes a good family dog and guard dog. The coarse, flat coat requires very little grooming. Easily obedience trained, but can show its temper and is not good with other dogs. Will require a lot of exercise.
