Saluki overview
The Saluki is a bedouin's hunting dog, bred for speed. It is said to have more stamina and often used as a first cross with Greyhounds to produce coursing hounds.
Saluki make good companions, although they often offer strangers a cool reception. Requires careful training; is sensitive and therefore needs gentle handling. Needs lots of free exercise and does not suit a town environment.
