Scottish Terrier overview
The Scottish Terrier has common roots with Cairn Terriers and Skye Terriers, but be careful about suggesting that these were the ancestors or a rebuke may follow. They were one of the first Scottish breeds to reach the show ring. A loyal dog to his master, a fierce defender of his honour and an indifferent attitude to strangers, makes this a popular house dog.
