West Highland White Terrier overview
Championed by the Malcolm family in Portalloch, Argyllshire, UK.
A white variety of the Cairn Terrier is its root. The Westie is a popular breed of terrier. It is spirited and assertive. The coat is hand-stripped and the breed can be feisty with other dogs, although with good socialization this should not be a problem.
